Events at the Jonathan Clark House

The Jonathan Clark House is Hosting its Second Book Club!


You are invited to take part in the Jonathan Clark House's 2nd book club on January 14h at 10 a.m.


The book club sill take place at the Jonathan Clark House on the Corner of Cedarburg and Bonniewell Roads in Mequon.


We will be discussing 

Studying Wisconsin; The Life of Increase Lapham 

by Martha Bergland & Paul G. Hayes 

and choosing our next book!

Be a Local History Preservationist

The Friends of the Jonathan Clark House Board of Directors have embarked on a comprehensive preservation plan. The goal of the plan's three current projects is to preserve and maintain the house’s 1848 historical integrity, ensuring its longevity as a cultural landmark and educational resource for the community. For more details, see page 4 of our May 2025 Newsletter.

Historic Local Maps at the JCH

The JCH recently acquired an 1860 Town of Mequon Plat Map to add to its collection.


Interested in exploring out maps? JCH Preservation Manager Fred Derr is proud of the collection and is available to give you a private session on the maps. You may bring your favorite magnifier or use one of ours. To schedule a private session contact Fred via email, with a date and time that works for your schedule: info@jonathanclarkhouse.org
